About New Apprenticeship

In 2016, our mission to partner with employers to create pathways for diverse tech talent was born. We’ve since grown beyond the nation’s first Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship for Digital Marketing to now supporting tech apprenticeships in data, cyber, software, and other tech roles.

We’ve also expanded from our roots in Texas to become a national program equipping our partners through local relationships in support of national talent development solutions.

Over 120+ businesses have partnered with us in our mission to bridge the tech talent gap. The overwhelming majority of leaders agree with us, the classroom of the future is the workplace because it is only through experience that we truly learn to lead.

Our vision is to grow the New Apprenticeship™ movement nationally by equipping the next generation of diverse tech talent within the context of meaningful work. By bridging significant skill gaps, we create a more agile and inclusive workforce.

New Apprenticeship will partner with leading employers to develop highly skilled, diverse early career-tech talent via an integrated apprenticeship program. We empower entire communities to develop technical and leadership skills where traditional career pathways are non-existent. Our goal is to transform the lives of apprentices and fundamentally change the way tech talent is developed over the next decade.

To partner with employers in transforming lives by bridging the gap between what schools teach and only experience can bring.

New Apprenticeship will not discriminate against apprenticeship applicants or apprentices based on RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, NATIONAL ORIGIN, SEX (INCLUDING PREGNANCY AND GENDER IDENTITY), SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENETIC INFORMATION, OR BECAUSE THEY ARE AN INDIVIDUAL WITH A DISABILITY OR A PERSON 40 YEARS OLD OR OLDER. New Apprenticeship will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity in apprenticeship and will operate the apprenticeship program as required under Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations, part 30.
